#TBT just shy of two years ago! Where were you two years ago? That’s right, 2017!
Me? Different path but same goals and vision. Through every trial and tribulation I’m glad I still have the ability to work from anywhere.
Yeah, it comes at a cost.
I can work from anywhere yet I’ve made the decision to stay local (for now). This past year I’ve had opportunity after opportunity to explore and travel the world, instead I choose to allocate those resources and keep reinvesting in myself. Honestly, I wouldn’t know who I am today had I not been.
Only a handful of people know what goes on behind the scenes because, let’s face it - behind the scenes can be boring. Sports channels don’t broadcast every practice or training camp, and we’re not always watching what goes on in the locker room. No point in posting that stuff, right?
As a player, I’ve lived through that once already, no point in reliving it. But as a coach, I’d rather keep inspiring people and myself, and relive the good memories and share the lessons I’ve learned.
I strongly believe we get back the sum of energy we out out, be it positive or negative. So anytime you’re feeling down find inspiration within yourself and those closest to you. In the end, that’s what matters.
